I'm a mother, a widow, and stay at home mom. My daughter is the most important person/thing in the world to me. There was a time when I wasn't really that interested in "sticking around." But she reminds me there is a bigger purpose to my life than just me. It's all about her now. That's really the most profound thing I've learned about being a parent. It is a selfless job. She's so worth it.

Lately it seems my interests are focused here! But generally, I love art. Paintings, sculptures, jewelry, anything creative. I love to go to art shows, and festivals to see what local artisans are creating. It inspires me to paint, make jewelry, work with clay., I also love Maui. It's my favorite place in the world (so far). I dream of living there, selling my art...ahhhh. I feel totally at peace there. I think it must be what heaven feels like. At least I hope anyway.
